ARC secures AusAID tender

THE Asia Research Centre (ARC) has recently won an open tender to review AusAID’s Gender and Development (GAD) Policy and Practice.

AusAID’s GAD policy aims to empower women and improve their access to education, health and resources. The policy also aims to incorporate a gender perspective into AusAID’s activities.

Gender specialist and ARC fellow Peggy MacDonald will be the team leader of the $100,000 project, which will assess the quality of the program and assess the degree to which the program has been integrated into AusAID activities and principles.
