Renewable research

THE Australian Cooperative Research Centre for Renewable Energy (ACRE) was established in 1996 under the Australian Government’s Cooperative Research Centres program.

ACRE undertakes commercially focused research and development in the field of renewable electricity generation, mainly in remote and fringe of grid applications.

ACRE has an extensive education program which covers all levels of education and training, from schools, technical education, tertiary education and beyond into continuing professional education and research.
